Do you feel a change?
Have you noticed a desire… a longing… to go deeper? Deeper in the Word of God? Deeper in your friendships? Deeper in your marriage?
I have notice a slow progression that started as a little flicker of light and is now is a full-on forest fire of determination to find “depth” in my life. I am no longer ok with a contained campfire. I want the full blaze and I want it now!
One of my favorite things to do is sit in my chair with my peach tea or coffee and pour over the Bible, various commentaries, and websites searching for nuggets to sustain my appetite for knowledge, understanding and depth.
Maybe you want it but don’t have it. Ask for it! The Bible tells us “we have not because we ask not.”
The world is changing and we need to put on the full armor of God. Take time to read and study what the words says. Confused? Ask for someone to interpret the Word or search through support material.
Don’t settle! Expand your mind! Desire that depth!
