Many, many, many changes in my life. So…. Fear erupts. Insecurities step up to the plate with a familiar smile. Value gets dinged. Faith is tested.
I… so… love… a… good… challenge. 🙂
My question is this… Can’t transition be a good thing? I think most people are resistant to change because we get so comfortable in our lives. We all like a level of predictability. We like to know what to expect and what comes next.
But… God doesn’t want us there.
God doesn’t want us to live “comfortable” and “predictable” lives. He wants us to live bold and out loud and allow Him to bend us like trees. He wants for us to step out and follow Him even when it just doesn’t make sense through the world’s filter. The cool thing is that when we do that… when we step out and follow God and love others and care for others and serve others… they see God.
That’s what we’re told in Matthew 5:16. Go look it up. Start with Matthew 5:14 and follow-up with the 5:16 verse.
We are to be the Light of the World.
I say YES! Father… use me up! I want to limp into heaven with band aids, broken nails, stretch marks and wrinkles and dreads.
Will you limp in with me?
Will you allow God to use you.. up? I hope so…. go get ’em!
