Don’t hate me because I am sunbathing. 🙂
Friends, as you read this I am in the Cayman Islands on the beach soaking up the sun, squishing the sand between my toes and enjoying family time. I’ve needed this break like nobody’s business.
I love how God knows just when to provide a necessary oasis. What a loving God.
Since it’s Tuesday, you’ll find my devotional over at CWAHM. I’ll take you there now with one quick click of your mouse… here. I’m talking about how important it is for our kids to see us being nice to others.
My friend Steve says, “What isn’t taught is caught.”
In other words, if you aren’t intentional in teaching your children how to treat others, they’ll catch bad behavior from watching the world in action. Nasty, nasty, nasty.
Um… no thanks.
God made us parents to our kids for a reason. Yes? Sisters, we need to take that privilege very seriously.
Also wanted to let you know that a good friend of mine – Julie Thomas – is guest posting for me Thursday and Friday this week. Love her. Julie is one cool chick. She is so wise and clever and sees life through His eyes.
She’s a deep water gal and you’ll want to make sure to read her posts. They’re going to challenge you to take a look at some areas we’d rather leave alone.
Okay… grab your coffee, put on a Veggie Tales for the kids, and click here to jump over to the Christian Work At Home Moms website (CWAHM).
I think you’ll resonate with what I’m talking about.
