Good morning, friends! I’m hanging out at CWAHM today talking about patience and the importance of modeling it for our children.
Are you a patient parent?
It’s not my strongest suit. To be perfectly honest… I’m not always the best model for that.
Especially when I am driving somewhere.
And running late.
And the line at Starbucks is too long to grab a Frapp.
Danger Will Robinson (please tell me you aren’t too young to place that phrase).
As a matter of fact, just the other day I was in that exact scenario. The car in front of me wasn’t even going the speed limit. Seriously…
Well, I was opening my mouth to share some very G-rated “suggestions” with this slow driver… but my kids beat me to it.
Um… that moment proved without a doubt that they really do listen to everything I say and watch everything I do.
Come visit me and I’ll share exactly what they said. It was pretty funny…
Sisters, be blessed!

Oh how I need patience. I just don’t like how God gives it to me… 😉

Shannon… I’m with you, girl. Patience is something we learn while in the fire. Love you…
