I am sitting in a room with 8 other women and we are laughing up a storm. How cathartic. I love women. I love when we get together.. away from our kids our husbands our worries… and chat until the wee hours of the morning. It is so important for us to take the time to renew ourselves… to relax.
I find that I really need this. I ADORE my family. I really do… but these “times” are becoming more and more important to me.
Thank you God for creating these opportunities for me.
I’m not excited about being at a women’s conference. It’s easy for me to lose my concentration because sitting at attention for so long can be a challenge at best. But I wouldn’t miss the time with other women for anything.
If you have the time and the friends… make plans for a girl’s weekend.
