Happy Tuesday, friends!
Well, the countdown to school is underway… T-minus 1 week as of today.
- We’re going to bed earlier in preparation for getting up earlier.
- The kid’s new backpacks and lunch boxes have been picked out and purchased.
- First-day outfits are clean and ready to wear.
And while I am looking forward to some semblance of a schedule, I am gonna miss those little critters. I’ve seen so much growth in them physically, emotionally but mostly… spiritually.
They are really starting to “get” God on a deeper level.
That does my heart good. I desperately want Sam and Sara to develop their own personal relationship with Him rather than just relying on or adopting mine.
My kids need to learn how to see God’s goodness and provision with their own eyes.

You know what, if you are trying to raise Godly kids… this is something you need to teach them, too.
