It’s Tuesday, which means I’m over at CWAHM today. But before I magically transport you, I want to ask you a question.
Here it is: Are you aware that your children have a huge target on their backs?
Well they do… and it’s a big one.
You see, it’s actually a demonic assignment specifically designed to take your kids out of the game. It shouldn’t really surprise you that the Enemy would go after them. It’s one of his textbook tactics.
Why? Because the Enemy hates your kids.
Well, he really hates God but since he cannot get to Him… the Enemy goes after the thing closest to God’s heart. His kids. And as you know from being a parent… we don’t take it lightly when others mess with our kids cuz it will get ugly real quick. Yes?
Parenting is the toughest job I’ve ever had.
- I’m always on call.
- What I want or need is usually at the bottom of the list.
- Just when I figure them out, they change.
- Each kid is so different.
- I have to be so creative in getting them to do things.
- The job is 24/7/365.
- When they hurt, it tears my heart out.
We just can’t leave it to chance. No. We need to be intentional when it comes to battling for our children. Why? Because the Enemy is just as intentional in his assault.
We don’t want to be parents on the defensive, always behind the game trying to make up ground when they get beaten down.
Not a chance.
Instead, we want to be parents who live offensively and deliberately when it comes to our children. We need to be working ahead of the Enemy so when the storms hit, we’re already armored up and ready to go.
