I can’t believe that in less than six weeks (June 2nd, to be exact), Untangled: Let God Loosen the Knots of Insecurity will release into the world.
This book is my story – my struggle – of how insecurity has consumed me, and it’s been years in the making. And it’s a story, believe me. God has untangled this girl from a pretty messy life, and there have been countless knots He has (and still is) loosening – knots that have kept me from loving myself and feeling comfortable in my own skin.
And knots I share with crazy transparency in my book.
Chances are, you’re tangled too.
With the demands and expectations we face every day, women are set-up to feel like we just don’t have what it takes. We’re left feeling like we’re just not good enough. And I’m tired of feeling that way. I think you are, too.
I’ve been hitting the topic of insecurity pretty hard lately, and am encouraged by your responses. They’ve affirmed some very deep tangles in me that wonder, “Will my story make a difference?”
And many of you have reached out and asked how you can help. The fact that you’d even ask rocks. Truth is, this message is a big one, and I appreciate your support.
I really do need your help more than I ever imagined, though. I only have one voice that can go so far. But if you join me, together our voices are louder and can reach farther.
You’ll be able to share Untangled in places I may not be able to, like with your friends and family… your church… your coffee girls… your office. Would you consider being my hands and feet and words over the next several weeks?
One way to do that is to join the Untangled Launch Team. This team is made up of people, just like you, who are willing to help me get the word out about this book.
~ There are no special requirements (except you have to be awesome, and you’ve got that covered).
~ You don’t have to be a social media expert or have an established website/blog.
~ You don’t even have to have a huge tribe of followers.
I’m just looking for women who are passionate about being free from the tangles of insecurity, and want to be freedom-fighters for other women needing encouragement and direction.

I’ll be honest; I would love to meet the sales goals of my publisher. They have high expectations for Untangled. But God has been loosening that performance knot in me, and my real hope is that women everywhere will know how much they matter – that they were created on purpose, and God delights in His creation.
You see, there’s a bigger movement taking shape here. And I’m seeing it come together more and more every day. Women just like you and me are hungry for God and for the freedom His untangling will bring. We’re tired of trying to fix ourselves because it’s not working. And we’re desperate to believe we are who God says we are: beautiful, significant, worthy, and absolutely good enough.
This is so much more then book sales and revenue numbers. It’s about encouraging that woman to believe she is wonderfully made – that she doesn’t have to be perfect or prove her worth. It’s about reminding her she’s good enough simply because she is His.
THAT is what I’m all about.
